This development will include the design, coding, integration, testing, and maintenance of a variety of web and database applications and subsystems. Your work will support both internal and external customers with a variety of diverse needs.

Qualifications / Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

* A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a programming-centric field.

* At least one year of experience building database-driven web applications in a production environment.

* A solid understanding of web architectures, technologies, and design.

* The ability to work with a diverse group of co-workers, understand customer needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs.

 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 * Strong familiarity with most, if not all, of the technologies detailed below.

Desired Experience:

We are particularly looking for candidates with experience and aptitude in the following areas:

* PHP programming.

* SQL database maintenance, via direct queries and via APIs.

* SQL database design. MySQL expertise, in particular.

* HTML, XML, and Javascript and CGI programming experience.

Other highly desirable experience includes:

 *Data warehousing experience. 

 *Unix/Linux system administration experience.

*Web server administration experience. 

* Unix shell scripting, Perl scripting, C programming experience.
